Recently, the 3rd Sino-British Enterprise Investment and Cooperation Forum was held in Raffles City on the North Bund. The forum is committed to building a bridge between Chinese and British enterprises, seeking a more mutually beneficial and win-win model of cooperation between China and Britain, strengthening cooperation and exchanges between the two sides in various fields, and promoting investment and financing cooperation between enterprises. Mr. Li Qian, Secretary of Shanghai Hongkou District Committee, Mr. Matt Burney, Consul General of British Consulate General in Shanghai, and Mr. Zhu Gang, Deputy Director of International Economic and Technical Cooperation Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, attended the forum and delivered speeches. Matt Burney said that China and the UK have close economic and trade ties, with more than two-thirds of British companies in China headquartered in Shanghai. Building on this strong foundation, the two sides have great prospects and opportunities for cooperation in areas such as healthcare, financial technology and green transformation. We look forward to seeing more exchanges and cooperation in the future, and promoting business cooperation and cultural integration between the two sides to a higher level.
